Therapy for patients with asymptomatic and mild cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia

Background: Though coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been designated as a global pandemic, its nature viral infection means that it is essentially self-limiting disease. We studied the application of symptomatic, isolation, relaxation, nutrition and observation (SIRNO) therapy in patients with asymptomatic mild symptoms COVID-19 at rescue hospital Indonesia. Methods: This retrospective cohort study involving 2122 who were admitted to Indrapura Field Hospital Surabaya from 28 May 2020 20 September 2020. analyzed demographic data, clinical signs symptoms, laboratory outcomes. Result: The total sample consisted 1403 male (66.12%), 719 female (33.88 %). The most common age range was 26-45 years, 52.54% (1115 patients). 1121 (52.8%) asymptomatic, 977 (46%) had 24 (0.1%) moderate symptoms. All received SIRNO method. From patients, 1930 (90.9%) cured, 181 (8.5%) are still being treated, seven (0.03%) referred for indications desaturation (SpO2 <94%), four (0.01%) moved referral hospital.
